- full range of digital media production services from preproduction to distribution
- event production
- entrepreneural training in digital arts
- nonprofit fiscal agency
- live event planning and implementation
- social media marketing strategies.
The mission of WCM is to encourage and celebrate the arts and the New Creative Economy through integrating creative and social awareness into the daily lives of each community served primarily through programs. WCM has recently embarked on an ambitious capital project in downtown Cheyenne – redeveloping the long-vacant Hynds Building. Open the tab above to read more.
WCM offers a variety of programs throughout the year including: (1) the Cheyenne International Film Festival (CIFF); (2) the Wyoming Film Institute training and outreach; (3) The Shoot Out Cheyenne 24 Hour Film Making festival.
CIFF offers audiences an opportunity to see films from around the world and network with and learn from producers, director, writers and photographers.
WCM offers year-round community educational outreach programs and screenings including the Shoot Out Top 10 Films, the Wyoming Film Institute and the Film-related tourism conference.
Through partnerships with Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority, the Downtown Cheyenne Merchants’ Association, the Wyoming Film Office, the City of Cheyenne, and the Cheyenne Area Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, WCM is creating a strong community-based infrastructure to support film and digital media.

There might be some opportunities for WCM on the Wyoming PBS show Wyoming Chronicle this year, when it becomes more of a magazine show, with roll-in -packages and video montages. We should chat about it in the next month or two.
