Wyoming Community Media (WCM) is engaged in a number of projects. There are pages dedicated to each.
Creative Economy – WCM received a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council to develop a digital media curriculum in collaboration with Laramie County Community College that will be taught in Downtown Cheyenne locations.
Artist Housing – The grant is designed to assist artists to add value to themselves through acquisition of new skills and entrepreneurship. A part of the Wyoming Arts Council grant is to outreach to artists in the community and provide them with information about the city of Cheyenne Home Ownership Programs. There are some great deals for first time home buyers.
LightsOn! Downtown Group – WCM co-produced the inaugural Night D’Lights Champagne Reception at the historic Hynds Building. The long term use of the Hynds is to teach the LCCC / WCM classes in the artist cooperative space.
